Admissions for the 2024–25 Academic Year

Regular notification follows an admissions calendar typical of Bay Area independent schools. Preliminary application forms were due January 12, 2024, with additional steps (including parent/family conversations and student design challenges) and documents (including parent/student statements, letters of recommendation and transcripts) due by February 1. Families will be notified of their admissions decision on March 13.

We continue to accept applications for the 2024–25 school year for Grades 3–11 on a rolling basis and encourage you to reach out to the Admissions Team with any questions.

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

In our mission statement, we promise to graduate students who are at “ease beyond their borders”; that is, students who have the cultural competencies necessary to engage with, empathize with and serve in communities other than their own. Campus Flex

The Campus Flex program is currently offered for students in grades 6–12. Campus Flex combines the world-class academics of Avenues Online with in-person engagement at Avenues Silicon Valley, enabling students to learn from anywhere at any time, while enjoying access to dynamic brick-and-mortar school experiences. Families interested in applying to Campus Flex should indicate this on the preliminary application form.

Tuition & Financial Aid

Avenues seeks to build a student body that reflects the diversity of the community it serves. We aim to meet the demonstrated financial need of each admitted family at time of admission. However, please note that admission to Avenues is selective and we are unfortunately unable to admit all deserving candidates given our generous but ultimately finite financial aid budget.

We encourage you to consider Avenues even if you cannot afford the full cost of tuition, as you may qualify for need-based aid. In fact, we will waive the application fee if you are applying for financial aid.
