What We Commit to You

An interview process that's intentionally designed to yield a real sense of whether Avenues is a good fit for you, and vice versa. Clear communication about where you are in the process. Eagerness to answer your questions and help you get to know us. Close attention to making interviewing equitable and fair for everyone.
What We Ask of You

Reflect carefully on your own goals, passions and priorities. If that leads you to Avenues, please investigate us in depth, before and during your interviews. Bring your authentic self to each conversation, and be candid about your strengths and weaknesses. Communicate openly about your situation and timeline.

INITIAL SCREENING

Applicants who pass the CV review are invited to an initial online interview.
TASK & DEBRIEF

You will receive detailed instructions to complete a job-related task (virtual or in-person). After you complete it, we will discuss it with you and further answer your questions about Avenues and the role.
FINAL ROUND

The final round varies depending on the position. It typically includes a career history interview to learn about your prior experience and a reference check. For certain positions, a focused interview is also conducted to better understand your competencies.
OFFER

If you are successful, we will call you to share why we believe you are the right fit for the role and to provide additional insights about the position and Avenues, and then follow up with an offer letter. All offers are contingent upon successful completion of background checks and any necessary work authorization requirements.
BACKGROUND CHECK

After you accept the offer, we will conduct background check, which covers non-criminal record verification and safeguarding related checks to ensure the safety and well-being of students.
